The Department for Transport has published draft Regulations for the implementation of the European Directive "on the organisation of the working time of persons performing mobile road transport activities" from April 2005. Draft formal guidance for the road transport industry has also been provided. The draft documents are subject to consultation and interested parties are invited to submit responses by 12 December 2004.
