The Technical Packs for Software Developers for both 2004/05 and 2005/06 year-ends, covering the Internet service for PAYE Online for Employers, have been updated.

The EDI technical specification for the P46(CAR) has been amended to give extra guidance on the format of the National Insurance number. The record layouts have not changed.
